Considering the growth of Plastic Industries in Jharkhand and expansion of existing plastics & allied industries in the surroundings, demand for the trained manpower is ever increasing in Jharkhand. In order to meet the same the following Long Term Courses are conducted at CIPET : CSTS - Ranchi from the Academic year 2019-20 with AICTE approval from Academic year 2019-20.

LATERAL ENTRY TO SECOND YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE - DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY
Course Code : DPT
Duration : 2 years
Age : No Age Limit
Entry Qualification :
2 years Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Biology subject.
Or
10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subject) or 10+2 Science with Technical Vocational subject.
Or
10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate Trade (any one of subjects studied : General Machinist / Draughtsman Mechanical / Fitting / Plastics / Polymer / Chemical Technology) shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme.
