ADMISSION PROCEDURE - DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

Your journey towards a diploma in Plastics technology from CIPET begins right here. We are looking for talented students from all backgrounds. If you have the ability and the commitment to make the most of the opportunities offered at our centres of education located right around the country, then we want to hear from you.

Applicants who are interested in our diploma programs can check details for the specific course. Every course has a dedicated web page containing entry requirements as well as other useful information.


HOW TO APPLY

If you have completed your 10th standard or equivalent, you are eligible to apply for the diploma courses at any of the CIPET centres. Age is not a criteria. Similarly for the Post Graduate Diplomas there is an eligibility requirement of a 3 year degree or diploma course with relevant subjects. Do check out the webpage for the specific course you are interested in.

Admission to all CIPET Diploma & Post Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma, courses are carried out through an online admission system. Applicants need to sit for the all India Computer Based Test (CBT) JEE. Selection is based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination.

In case you are sitting for your entry qualification exam, you can still apply. Your selection and admission will be based on successful completion and submission of certificates by the stipulated date.

Successful candidates selected for the course will be provided a provisional admission through a call letter. The candidate must accept the allotment of admission within the stipulated date else the admission will be cancelled and a wait listed candidate will be allotted the academic seat.


CATEGORY-WISE RESERVATION

  • SC category : 15%
  • ST category : 7.5%
  • Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer) : 27%
  • Physically Challenged : 3% (Horizontal Reservation for Physically Challenged candidates cutting across all sections including SC/ST and the Other Backward Classes and the Non - reserved category.)
  • Economically Weaker Section : 10 %
  • General : 37.5 %
