CIPET: IPT & CSTS, Lucknow is one of the premier centre of Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), established in the year of 1986, in the Amausi Industrial Area near Lucknow Airport. Spread across 6.5 acres with modern infrastructure and advanced technical facilities, the institute is dedicated to excellence in Plastics Engineering & Technology through Academics, Skill Development, Research, Technical Support, and Industrial Consultancy.

CIPET was established in 1968 under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, and today operates through 46 functional campuses across the country. Recognized as a leading national institution, CIPET plays a vital role in strengthening the plastics and petrochemicals sector by creating skilled manpower, promoting innovation, and supporting industrial growth.

CIPET: IPT & CSTS, Lucknow offers specialized services and training in areas such as Plastics Processing, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, CAD/CAM/CAE, Product Design, Testing & Calibration, and Technical Consultancy. The institute is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, processing facilities, and testing equipment that meet international standards.

CIPET, Lucknow plays a significant role in providing employment-oriented academic and skill development program for unemployed and underemployed youth of Uttar Pradesh. The institute also extends technical support services to plastics and allied industries.
