CIPET - INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

CIPET constantly and continuously update and upgrade the machinery / equipment in-line with the fast changing industrial requirements. In-order to enhance the employability of students, CIPET also Imparts personality development, soft skills, industry internships as a part curriculum. Even though the quality education and training forms the part & parcel of both the long term professional skill development training and short term skill development training programmes, CIPET continues to focus on enhancing the quality education & training, technical support services and research work at par with the international standard.

Therefore imperative need is felt establish an exclusive CIPET-Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at CIPET Head Office for monitoring the Approval of academic programmes through All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), ISO Certification and other quality initiatives.

OBJECTIVES:

• To develop quality parameters for the activities of the Institution
• To create a student-centric teaching environment conducive to imparting quality education.
• To solicit, format and implement feedback / suggestions from stake holders on quality related affairs.
• To create quality consciousness among the stake holders especially students and both teaching and non-teaching faculty.
• To document the steps taken and process implemented, leading to quality enhancement.
• To act as a nodal agency to coordinate quality related activities in the campus.
• Monitoring the AICTE, ISO 9001 QMS and other activities related to Quality initiatives.

FUNCTIONS:

The Functions of CIPET IQAC are:

• Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters / measurable objectives / Risk based thinking for the various academic, Technical & administrative activities of the institution.
• Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.
• Organising of workshops, seminars on quality related themes.
• Documentation of the various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement.
• Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related activities.
