ABOUT CIPET : CSTS - MADURAI

CIPET Centre in the state of Tamil Nadu was established at Madurai in the year 2010 to cater the need of Plastics industries in the Southern part of the Tamil Nadu. In the "Temple City" Madurai, CIPET is located in Thiruvathavur and it is spread on 20 acres of land with all the necessary infrastructural facilities like laboratories, class rooms, various departments, library, cafeteria, hostel, etc. The campus is located at a distance of 15 km from the Main MGR Bus Terminus, Mattuthavani. The nearest airport is Madurai International Airport, is about 25 km from CIPET.

CIPET : CSTS - Madurai is an ISO 9001 : 2015 certified institution for its Academic and Technology Support Services and Product Testing Laboratory (PTL) is accredited by NABL for Quality Control and Testing of raw materials and products of plastics.

CIPET : CSTS - Madurai is presently conducting three Long Term Courses i.e. Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT), Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT), Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM(PD-PMD). Also short duration skill development training programmes in Plastics Processing / Injection Molding / Extrusion / CNC Milling / CNC Lathe etc. Also, our CAD Department is conducting specialized training on various CAD softwares AutoCAD / Unigraphics / Creo / CATIA / Mold Flow etc.
