The Master's Degree in Polymer Science has helped turn out professionals in a fast moving field that has a wide impact in our everyday lives. It is an interdisciplinary area of study comprising of chemistry, physics, engineering and processing with an emphasis on contemporary materials science. It is a little known fact that 30% of scientists world over are involved in chemical industries work are in the field of polymers. This is not surprising since most modern functional materials like gears and devices use polymers as part of their integral internal structure.

This course is taught by a team of experts and researchers, and the lectures are supplemented by strong laboratory procedures and up to date computer facilities. There is also an emphasis on industry translation of technology to help the student build a career in industry.
