CIPET and VNIT Nagpur Sign MoU for Academic and Research Collaboration-A landmark collaboration for innovation and excellence!

Nagpur, June 12, 2026: Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) and Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur and the have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in Research, Academics, Skill Development, Testing, Consultancy, Innovation and Industry-Oriented initiatives in Polymers, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing and Allied Technologies.

The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General, CIPET and Prof. (Dr.) P. L. Patel, Director, VNIT Nagpur.

The initiative was coordinated by Prof. Shriram S. Sonawane from VNIT Nagpur and Mr. Pravin Bachhav, Director & Head, CIPET Chandrapur from the CIPET side. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Prof. Yashwant Katpatal, Dean (Research & Consultancy), Prof. G P Singh, Dean (Faculty Welfare), Dr. Manmohan Goel, Associate Dean (R&C), Heads of Dept., faculty members and officials from both institutions.

This strategic partnership is expected to create new opportunities for Students, Researchers, Faculty members and Industry Stakeholders, paving the way for impactful Innovations, Technology Development, Skill Enhancement and Stronger Industry-Academia Collaboration.
