Institute Talk on Plastic Wealth Management at VNIT Nagpur

Nagpur, June 12, 2026: Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General, CIPET, delivered an Institute Talk on "Plastic Wealth Management: Transforming Plastic Waste into Sustainable Resources and Opportunities" at the Senate Hall, VNIT Nagpur.

The session was attended by Faculty Members, Research Scholarsand Students from various disciplines.

Prof. Sinha highlighted the importance of Plastic Recycling, Circular Economy Practices, And Sustainable Waste Management, emphasizing their role in achieving Net Zero targets and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

He also provided insightful perspectives on the concept of "Saptarishi", highlighting the seven priorities driving India's sustainable, inclusive, and innovation-led development. The talk offered valuable insights into transforming Plastic Waste into Wealth while Promoting Environmental Sustainability and Resource Efficiency.
