Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers Govt. of India, been honoured with the award under the category of "Excellence in Skill Development" in the FICCI Chemicals and Petrochemicals Awards – 2025, in recognition of its exemplary contribution to the Skill India initiative of the Government of India and its sustained efforts in shaping the lives of unemployed and underemployed youth across the nation.

The award was presented on January 22 2026 by Smt. Anupriya Patel, Hon'ble Minister of State for Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers & Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the presence of Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary (C&PC), GoI and Sr. officials from DCPC & FICCI.
