ABOUT CIPET : SARP - LARPM - BHUBANESWAR

CIPET: School for Advanced Research in Petrochemicals (SARP) – LARPM, Bhubaneswar is an exclusive R&D wing of CIPET, established during the Financial Year 2009-10, with an objective of developing high-end polymeric materials for various engineering applications in the areas of Packaging, Automotives, Aerospace, Defence, Biomedical, Energy Storage etc. The laboratory has high-end characterization facility and basic amenities under one roof, for Researchers and Intellectuals working in the broad domain of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology. The laboratory is also recognized by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) as per ISO:IEC 17025:2017 and DST / DSIR, Govt. of India for undertaking Research Activities & Technical Consultancy in the scope of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, and Toxicology.

The R&D wing focusses on inter-disciplinary areas of Research - Science, Engineering and Technology in applied areas such as Biopolymers, Recycling and Waste Management, Composites and Nanocomposites, Fuel Cells, Solar Cells, Specialized Membranes Coatings & Adhesives, Super Capacitors, Nano generators etc. SARP-LARPM has undertaken many sponsored R&D projects from various Govt. agencies like, DST, MeitY, DCPC, CSIR, OIDB, DBT, DRDO, Ministry of Mines and has rendered consultancy to various leading MNCs and Industries such as Boeing, USA, ARTLUX, Mexico, ICG Specialities, Malaysia, LM Wind Power, PepsiCo, Reliance Polymers, HMEL, OPaL, IOCL, SABIC, Bengaluru, ITC, Bengaluru etc. along with National R&D laboratories and Institutions like CSIR labs, NITs, IITs etc.

CIPET:SARP-LARPM, Bhubaneswar has collaborative tie-ups with various renowned Academic and Research Institutions as well as Industries for Joint Research & validation assignments in the field of Polymers and allied areas.
