DIRECTOR GENERAL’S ADDRESS FOR ANNOUNCING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VI PAY COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS |
| |
| |
Dear All, |
| |
| |
“Progress to Prosper” (P2P) and to achieve Prowess in ATR (Academics, Technology, Research) domain have been the ‘Mantra” of CIPET – a Vision- co-opted by CIPET team. I have been fortunate to lead a vibrant CIPET team since July 31, 2007 & incidentally, a year of my tenure completed with positive note and annual performance for 2007-08 was quite satisfactory with 21 % increase in internal resources of CIPET as compared to year 2006-07. |
| |
| |
The Half yearly performance review meeting held on September 30, 2008 at CIPET Head Office reassured the confidence in achieving the Fiscal target for 2008-09, as decided during Annual Summit of CIPET centres at Jaipur in April 2008. |
| |
| |
Similarly, in the area of TECHNOLOGY, Specific Centres will be developed as Expertise Institution in the different areas of Plastics Engineering & Technology i.e.. Mould design & Development, Precision machining & CNC Machining Centre, Plastics Processing Centres with capability to process High performance & Speciality polymers etc. |
| |
| |
The dawn of October 1, 2008 was a memorable day for CIPETians,as we have gone ahead and implemented VI pay commission recommendations, as approved by Government of India for CIPET employees-Perhaps, CIPET is the first autonomous Institute in the country, which acted steadfast to implement VI pay scales for the Welfare & motivation of the Employees. |
| |
| |
I would like to impress upon all Officers & staff across India that the hard efforts, team work, dynamic leadership of Team leaders always yield fruits & success for the Individuals as well as for organisation. CIPET’s performance is the indicator of synergy of a disciplined and dedicated team. |
| |
| |
As regards “Management”, it is my strong conviction that “Management and medicine have one thing in common – They can both cause problems as well as solve them” but, at CIPET, it is our endeavour to demonstrate a Management having problem solving medicinal attribute. |
| |
| |
Today, as you all may be aware that the economic slowdown has adversely affected a large section of private sector organisations across the globe. The giant companies in India & Abroad are on lay off/retrenchment drive to cut down their operating costs to survive and gain profitability. However, we are providential that the progressive growth trend & sound financial health of organisation allow us to face the additional burden for implementation of VI pay Scales & benefits. |
| |
| |
I am confident that CIPET Team would shoulder the responsibility of sustaining the additional burden in coming years by achieving the Fiscal Targets, by maximising their efforts. As the head of CIPET family, my duty is to analyse and assess the situation in right perspective in the interest of organisation & members of CIPET family. Being the frontrunner in implementation of VI pay scales, once again, I am happy to announce the decision to release 40% Arrears payable to the CIPET Team as per the recommendations of VI pay commission, as approved by Govt. of India. I hope the disbursement of arrears in the current festive season would definitely add up to the cheer & joy of Diwali festival for all CIPETians. |
| |
| |
Now, my appeal is to all Team members to contribute their 100% towards CIPET’s fiscal growth to validate & justify the confidence I presumed in CIPET team by implementing VI pay scales without delay of a single day at par with Government departments. |
| |
| |
Once again, I wish you all & members of your Family a “Happy, Healthy & Prosperous” DIWALI. |
