Laboratory for Advanced Research in Polymeric Materials (LARPM), an exclusive R&D hub of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) invites applications for the M.Tech Projects/Thesis begining in the area of Plastics Engineering & Technology in September/October 2008.
Research areas focus on the following
Polymer Blends & Alloys
Fiber Reinforced Composites
Polymer Nanocomposites
Biodegradable Polymers
E-waste Recycling
Both computational and experimental investigations are pursued, often in an interdisciplinary work environment. The candidates are expected to work on various Sponsored Research Projects with hands-on exposure on various sophisticated characterization equipments, within a stipulated time frame of 12 months.
The students will have an opportunity to present Research papers in various International Conferences under sponsored project schemes.
